Eat Sleep Play’s David Jaffe has confirmed that he is not working on a PlayStation 3 iteration in the Twisted Metal franchise.
Rumors of a new Twisted Metal game have been doing the rounds ever since Jaffe revealed his plans to work on a new game for current generation platforms, with many believing the project would be unveiled at E3 next month.
However, aside from Jaffe’s previous comments confirming that the title would not be shown at E3, it turns out that a new Twisted Metal isn’t on the cards fullstop: “By the way, I WISH we were making a new Twisted Metal. Making game you’ve already worked on is tons easier cuz your core blueprint is,” he said on Twitter.
