Publisher DeepSilver’s unearthed several decomposing screenshots of its upcoming open-world zombie romp, Dead Island.
Originally an Xbox 360 and PC exclusive, the Techland-developed undead fest will now be shambling onto PlayStation 3 at some point in 2011.
Viewed from a first-person perspective, Dead Island plonks players on a zombie-infested tropical paradise as they fight for survival using a heap of weapons, with emphasis placed on melee combat. Four-player co-op has also been confirmed.
