Capcom will announce Dead Rising 4 at E3 2016, according to NeoGAF insider Ekim.
The industry tipster previously commented on the forum that a follow-up to 2013’s Xbox One launch title is in development, although at the time wasn’t sure when the game would be announced.

What isn’t known at this point is if Dead Rising 4 will be exclusive to Microsoft’s format or if it will also be made available for the PlayStation 4.
Nothing official has been confirmed by Capcom as of yet, so take this with a pinch of salt until we hear otherwise.
Could Dead Rising be resurrected for PS4 after a lengthy hiatus?
Dead Rising originally launched on Xbox 360 back in 2006, and while the game received a Wii port in the shape of Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, the series never graced a Sony platform until the 2010 sequel.
Dead Rising 2 brought the series’ comical zombie-bashing mayhem to PS3 for the first time, as well as bringing back original protagonist Frank West. Despite this, Capcom’s follow-up was an Xbox One-exclusive launch title, and to date there seem to be no plans to bring the game to PS4.
However, given Sony’s success with its flagship home console, which has sold 40 million units worldwide to date, there’s every chance that Dead Rising 4 could turn up on PS4 due to its higher installed base. As such, a multiplatform release at this point looks like the best bet.
