Dead Space 2: Severed will be scuttling out of the air-vents on March 1 for download via PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE, publisher Electronic Arts has announced.
For those of you who don’t possess Elephant-like memories, Severed supplements Dead Space 2’s single-player campaign with two fresh chapters focusing on the exploits of Dead Space: Extraction’s Gabe Weller. The DLC will set you back $6.99/560 MS Points.
The press blurb states, “As a security officer, Weller comes equipped with a one-of-a-kind security suit and an upgraded, more powerful Pulse Rifle that will help him unleash his own blood-curdling adventure across the Sprawl. Lurking behind every corner is another bloodthirsty monster but the big surprise for Weller (and fans) is the return of the Twitcher, a grotesque enemy who first appeared in the original Dead Space game.”
