Horror title Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut has officially gone gold, Rising Star Games has announced.
Due out in the U.S. on April 30, this PlayStation 3-exclusive outing is an enhanced version of the original, critically-polarizing Deadly Premonition released on Xbox 360 in 2010.
The brainchild of Hidetaka Suehrio – affectionately known as Swery – Deadly Premonition stars York Morgan, a special agent who arrives in the small town of Greenvale to solve a brutal murder while battling supernatural creatures.
Set in an open-world environment, players are able to explore the picturesque town and surrounding area, conversing with locals and completing side-quests and mini-games to help crack the case.
However, The Director’s Cut includes several extra features not seen in the original release. Among them is a brand-new scenario conceived by Swery, enhanced visuals and DLC.
Pre-order bonuses are also available at participating retailers. Amazon is offering consumers an exclusive Field Ops suit, which gives you a HP and Attack Power boost, while GameStop offers the Espresso Suite, resisting tolerance to Hunger and Tiredness x3.
