Patient European gamers will soon get an official release of Demon’s Souls. We say ‘official’ because we know some of you have imported the game, but it appears Namco Bandai has picked up publishing rights in Europe.
An early listing on the USK German classifications board indicated that Namco will publish the game in Europe. The listing has since been removed. We expect to hear an official announcement from Namco Bandai soon.
Demon’s Souls is an action-RPG with a unique online component. It was one of our favorite games of 2009, and will likely come highly recommended by anyone who has ventured through its tricky dungeons. Atlus published the game in America, where is has sold more than 280,000 copies. It was originally released in Japan.
