Okay, so you’ve downloaded The Dark Below expansion for Destiny, whizzed through the story missions in less than an hour, and are now wondering how on earth to unlock the Strike missions which are still padlocked on the map.
Well, like much of Destiny, Bungie likes to let you work things out yourself. But to save the bother, here’s the steps you need to take.
1. Visit Eris Morn at the Tower and pick up your first quest
-Location Tower Plaza near to the passage to the speaker
2. Complete all three story missions
– Fist of Crota
– Siege of the Warmind
– The Wakening
3. Visit Eris Morn at the Tower and pick up one of the new bounties
– Easiest bounty is “Kill 25 Hive Wizards and Knights”
4. Complete the bounty
– We did this by replaying the three new story missions again and picked up the bounty about half-way through. This method took us about 40 minutes.
5. Bring your bounty back to Erin and pick up the three new Patrol quests
– The Patrol icon will now be flashing when you enter Orbit and check the map of the Earth.
– From Earth, you need to head to The Divide and go through the Rocketyard and to the Refinery . Here you will find the Heart of Crota, a wizard that you’ll need to defeat.
– Now restart Earth Patrol and head immediately west through Mothyards. Head for the westernmost building and the follow the path until you reach the dark room where you turn the flashlight on. The Hand of Crota is in that room, though he can be hard to find. Scour all the corners.
– From this position, keep heading through the building until you reach The Forgotten Shore. Remember that loot cave ahead? Head right past it and into the building. Keep following the path through the building until you reach the Terrestrial Complex. Take down the Servant of the Eyes and then steal his urn. A dropship will deliver some more enemies. You’ll need to kill them all to complete the quest
5. Head back to Eris at the Tower and pick up the quest that unlocks the Strike.
