Activision has announced the release of Destiny: The Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The bundle will launch on September 20, day-and-date with the upcoming Destiny Rise of Iron expansion, and will retail for $59.99/£49.99.
Destiny: The Collection includes the base version of the shared-world shooter alongside four expansion packs: The Dark Below, House of Wolves, The Taken King, and the aforementioned Rise of Iron.
In addition, the pack will also feature a Level 40 Character Booster, while pre-orders will net you the Iron Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher; a special version of the legendary heavy weapon with a black and iron paint job. Check out a trailer for Destiny: The Collection below.
Destiny was released back in September 2014 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. However, Bungie is cutting back support for what it calls ‘Legacy Consoles,’ so those who own the game on PS3 and 360 will not be able to enjoy the upcoming Rise of Iron expansion.
In recent months following the launch of The Taken King last September, Bungie has been rolling out time-based events to keep gamers entertained, such as the Festival of the Lost and Crimson Days.
Publisher Activision announced earlier this year that Destiny 2 is currently in development and will be released at some point in 2017.
