CEO of Activision, Eric Hirschberg, took to the stage at Sony’s Gamescom 2014 press briefing to confirm that Destiny has become the most pre-ordered new IP in history.
The information was gathered from Gamestop pre-orders and Activision admits it’s been shocked by the positive reaction to the alpha and beta phases of Bungie’s upcoming shooter which was played by 4.6 million people.
