The Sleeper Stimulant mission on Destiny: The Taken King went live this week, and we’ve got the lowdown on how to complete it, in addition to a video walkthrough of the action.
If you complete this quest, you’ll bag yourself a unique weapon that will be placed in your heavy weapon slot.
Here’s how to complete the Sleeper Stimulant quest:
1. Collect all the legendary fusion rifles for the gunsmith. These are dropped randomly in strikes and can take ages to find, but if you have found them before today can skip this part.
2. Go to a new quest called The First Firewall that has opened up on Earth. Check out the video below for a walkthrough.
3. You will get a coded beacon. Insert these codes to access the next part by entering the correct passcode sequences into the Curious Transceiver as follows:

4. Partake in another strike on earth called the Shadow Call Mission. This time you have to do it solo and beat within the time limit. Check out the second part of the video below for a walkthrough.
5. The final part of the mission consists of three parts:
A. Dismantle one legendary or higher heavy weapon.
B. Do the archive Mission on Venus.
C. Partake in a Warsat public event on Mars, Moon and Earth.
6. Finally, hand into the gunsmith on the tower, and wait.
7. Visit the gunsmith at a random time period, seems to be 24hrs after handing in core.
8. Do the Saber strike at light level 280, you will gain a sleeper Simulant framework.
9. Head back to the tower to receive your shiny new Fusion Rifle.
