Bungie has hit the reset switch on Destiny’s servers for another week, which means Guardians are about to face a new set of challenges for the next seven days.
First and foremost, the Nightfall has been refreshed to incorporate The Undying Mind, which comes equipped with the modifiers Solar Burn, Brawler, Grounded, and Match Game.
Next up, the Prison of Elders has been revamped so you’ll now be facing the arenas Cult of the Worm and Broken Legion at Level 32 and Level 34, respectively. Finally, the King’s Fall raid challenge this week is none other than Oryx himself.
Destiny recently launched its latest time-based event, the Valentine’s Day-themed Crimson Days, although things didn’t get off to a great start thanks to a particularly stingy drop rate. However, Bungie has moved to apologise by way of offering some guaranteed light Ghosts.
In the wider scheme of things, Activision has announced that a full-fledged sequel to the polarizing shared-world shooter will arrive at some point in 2017. In addition, Destiny will be getting another expansion pack later this year, though details are currently being kept under wraps.
Bungie has reached out to gamers in the last few weeks to find out if they’re still playing Destiny, as the atmosphere amongst the community hasn’t been great as of late. Evidently, folk are getting tired of time-based events, which fail to stimulate interest in the alien shooter following the massive Taken King update last September.
