Destiny: weekly Nightfall reset for May 10, 2016

Destiny’s servers have been reset for another seven days, which means Guardians have a host of new challenges to face in the never-ending battle against the Darkness.

The Nightfall this week comes in the shape of the Winter’s Run Strike, equipped with modifiers Specialist, Fresh Troops, Exposure and Trickle.

Over at the Court of Oryx, players will have to face off with Fanatic of Crota as this week’s Tier 3 boss, while the Prison of Elders has been refreshed to include Urrox’s Grudge and The Forever Eater for Level 32 and Level 34, respectively.

Finally, this week’s King’s Fall raid challenge is none other than Oryx himself, so bring out the big guns for this task.

Destiny was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 back in September 2014. Despite picking up lukewarm reviews from critics, the shared-world shooter garnered a loyal fanbase that continues to thrive to this day.

Bungie supported the game with three major expansion to date, including The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King. In recent months, the studio has released time-based events to keep gamers entertained, such as the Sparrow Racing League and Festival of the Lost.

April saw the release of a major patch for Destiny, which introduced various PlayStation-exclusive content, new gear, missions, plus a fully revamped Prison of Elders.

Activision announced earlier this year that a new expansion will be released later this year, with Destiny 2 scheduled to ship at some point in 2017
