Destiny: weekly Nightfall reset for May 17, 2016

Destiny’s game servers have been refreshed for another week, which means Guardians have a new set of challenges to face.

Kicking things off with the Nightfall, and gamers will this week be facing the Shield Brothers Strike, which was introduced in last year’s The Taken King expansion. Modifiers include Arc Burn, Juggler, Ironclad, and catapult.

Over at the Court of Oryx, and this week’s Tier 3 boss comes in the shape of Balwur. Meanwhile, The Prison of Elders has been refreshed and now features The Forever Eater and Machine Wrath for Level 32 and Level 34, respectively.

Finally, the King’s Fall raid challenge this week comes in the shape of the fearsome Warpriest. Good luck, Guardians.

Destiny was released in September 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Despite lukewarm reviews, the game attracted a loyal following helped by the release of three major expansions: The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King.

Developer Bungie later introduced time-based events to keep the fanbase busy, including Festival of the Lost, Sparrow Racing League and Crimson Days. However, a new expansion will launch later this year.

Not only that, but publisher Activision confirmed earlier in the year that Destiny 2 will be released at some point in 2017.
