Bungie has ushered in the latest Destiny weekly reset, although chances are most of you will be beavering away in the on-going Destiny 2 beta on PlayStation 4, which wraps up service later today.
Still, once the beta is over, you can get stuck into the latest offerings from the original shared-world shooter, which maintains a loyal and consistent fanbase nearly three years after its release in September 2014.

While Bungie has confirmed it will not be offering any future updates for Destiny going forward, the former Halo developer has pledged to continue supporting the title (in other words, not shutting down its servers) for the foreseeable future.
Naturally, all eyes are on the impending Destiny 2 release, which is pencilled in for September 6, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and October 24 for PC. The sequel will introduce a number of new features into the mix, chief among which includes a huge open-world ripe with new side quests to tackle, known here as Adventures.
In addition, the multiplayer suite has also been overhauled to focus on 4v4 matches, and there’s a host of new exotic weapons and armor to hunt down. Your gear and loot won’t carry over to Destiny 2, however, which ties in with the narrative; the Tower has been attacked, with Guardians losing all their equipment in the process.
In terms of performance, the game is a noticeable step up from its predecessor, although Bungie has admitted that the PS4 Pro lacks the power to run the game at a consistent 60fps.
