Iron Banner will return to Destiny for the first time since the launch of House of Wolves on June 2, developer Bungie has announced.
However, the PvP event comes equipped with a number of significant changes. First up, any Guardians on your account of a lower rank will receive a reputation boost to enable them to catch up with the higher ranked players. Rewards have benefitted from a reduction in Glimmer cost, and you can now purchase Etheric Light at Rank 3 and 5.
Elsewhere, the Gunsmith in the tower has gained Lord Saladin’s reforge ability, with The Cauldron and The Pantheon now being playable stages in the Iron Banner, alongside the PlayStation-exclusive Exodus Blue. Power matters more now too, as the delta between players has increased.
