Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan debuted a brand new Detroit: Become Human trailer during its pre-Tokyo Game Show (TGS) press conference earlier today.
Check it out below.
Detroit: Become Human is the latest IP from Quantic Dream, the French-based developer headed by David Cage that previously worked on PlayStation-exclusive titles such as Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls.

The narrative-heavy adventure romp is based off a tech demo released by Quantic Dream for the PS3 back in 2012, known as Kara. Detroit takes this basic premise and sets the action in the titular metropolis in Michigan, USA, where androids are being used by humans for menial tasks in modern society.
Detroit release date set for PS4
Much like the majority of Cage’s works, Detroit employs a nonlinear storyline where the player’s actions will have direct consequences on how the narrative plays out. Key characters can perish but the game will continue depending on the choices you make throughout the 8-10 hour campaign.
While initially believed to see a release this year, Detroit will now officially ship exclusively for Sony’s flagship console at some point in 2018. No concrete date has been announced, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
