The pixel wizards at Digital Foundry have dredged up details on the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided frame rate and resolution, confirming the PlayStation 4 version of the stealth-action title is prone to dipping below 30fps on a few occasions.
According to the report, Mankind Divided runs at a native 1080p on Sony’s latest home console, with Xbox One owners having to settle for 900p. However, the temporal AA solution ensures that both editions of the game look solid.
As for the frame rate, it’s mostly a steady 30fps thanks to some help from adaptive v-sync, but some dips are noticeable, particularly on the Xbox One. Load times are also pretty lengthy, the report notes.
