Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on August 19.
Up until now, only the PS4 version of the fantasy-themed role-playing bundle had been announced.
As you’d expect, the Ultimate Evil Edition includes the original Diablo III and its expansion, Reaper of Souls. Four-player online and local multiplayer is supported for all versions of the game.
Gamers can share treasures via an in-game mailing system, including, as Blizzard reveals, "mysterious Player Gifts containing rare loot for the adventurer whose name they bear."
PS3 owners who already have the game will be pleased to know they can transfer their characters over to the PS4 version of the critically acclaimed title.
Blizzard Entertainment’s CEO, Mike Morhaime, commented: “The Ultimate Evil Edition brings Reaper of Souls to console gamers for the first time, and wraps all of the content, features, and updates we’ve released for Diablo III into one epic package.
“Whether you’re a veteran of the crusade against the forces of evil on PC or are just stepping foot into the Sanctuary for the first time, there’s never been a better time to experience Diablo III from the comfort of your couch.”
Those of you who pick up The Ultimate Evil Edition on day-one will be able to nab an exclusive Internal Pauldrons perk, reducing cooldown regeneration and providing extra health and life regeneration.
