The folks at Superannuation have unearthed a resume for Digital Extremes texture artist Emmanuel Pappas, seemingly confirming that the studio is working on a sequel to 2007’s The Darkness.
The resume mentions that Pappas, who has been with the developer since January 2009, is currently working on the project as a Texture Artist, Prop and Environment Artist, Team lead – Mansion.
Digital Extremes previously worked on BioShock 2’s multiplayer component and was also responsible for helping out Epic Games with the Unreal Tournament series.
The Darkness 2 was unveiled at Comic-Con 2009, though it has since been revealed that the creator’s of the original game, Starbreeze, won’t be involved with the title. Stay tuned for more info as it breaks.
