DiRT 4 release date announced for summer 2017
The follow-up to 2016’s critically acclaimed off-road racing title, DiRT Rally, this fourth numbered entry in the long-running franchise will arrive in stores on June 9, 2017, and includes a host of new features in comparison to its predecessor.
Chief among these is the ‘game changing’ Your Stage feature, which allows you to effortlessly produce a near infinite number of unique race tracks. Gamers simply pick their location and set the route parameters, after which this new feature will do the grunt work and cobble together a unique rally stage that you can speed around and share with friends. If you fancy it, you can even challenge your friends to beat your time.
DiRT 4 will take players around the world to locations such as Australia, Spain and California, and “challenges you to “Be Fearless” by capturing the thrill, emotion and passion of off-road racing. It recreates the heady mix of adrenalin and fear that comes from powering around a blind bend and the rush you feel going for a last ditch overtake when there’s not enough room on the final lap of a race. Off-road racing is about more than perfect cornering, it’s about heart-pounding split section decision making where bravery brings reward.”

DAMAGE & REPAIRS – Wear and tear is faithfully recreated with an improved and realistic damage model. Damage can be repaired by hiring Engineers to work in the team’s Service Area between stages but with a finite amount of time available.
