The new PS5 update is out now in the wild, and while it comes packing an array of fantastic features, there’s a couple of small issues that have been flagged up now that folk have had chance to scrutinise it more.
Digital Foundry has discovered that if you set the new HDR feature to ‘On When Supported’ following the update, then Disney Plus won’t work. It’s probably best to keep that in mind if you’re frequently using Disney’s streaming service.

The latest PS5 update adds the ability to transfer and storage PS5 games on an external device, as well as improving the console’s HDR and 120Hz support. The console’s Trophy features have also received a bunch of key improvements, as well as the usual stability updates.
Sony launched the PS5 in November 2020 in the US and UK, and the console sold 4.5 million units worldwide by the end of that year.
