Doom servers down as multiplayer goes offline

UPDATE: The servers are back online.

The Doom servers are currently down across all platforms. Bethesda has posted an update via twitter on the issue which is affecting multiplayer matches.

“We’re currently investigating login issues with DOOM multiplayer. Thank you for your patience,” writes the official Bethesda Support account.

Some players are presented with the error message “unable to obtain title storage” whilst attempting to connect to the Doom servers.

The server problems follow the release of Doom update 6.66 which has introduced a host of changes and tweaks for the first-person shooter.

Bethesda also confirmed this week that all multiplayer DLC contact, including guns and new maps is free of charge following the latest update.
