The DOOM reboot for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One is targeting 1080p @ 60fps across all formats, developer iD Software has confirmed.
Marty Stratton, Executive Producer at iD Software, dropped the news following publisher Bethesda’s inaugural E3 press conference yesterday evening. Stratton made it clear that the company is aiming to achieve its target across all versions of the first-person shooter.
While it is almost certain the PC version will hit the 1080p/60fps target, it will be interesting to see if the studio manages to achieve its goal for the PS4 and Xbox One editions, as past companies have traditionally opted for 1080p @ 30fps.
DOOM is scheduled to ship in spring 2016. Check out the latest screenshots here and don’t forget to visit our E3 2015 hub for all the latest, breaking stories.
