The YouTube channel for Guy Beahm — aka Dr. Disrespect — has been demonetised in wake of accusations that he was banned from Twitch for sending sexually explicit messages to a minor.
Speaking in a statement issued to Kotaku, a spokesperson for YouTube revealed that Beahm is no longer able to generated income from his account, and that his YouTube Partner Program has been suspended.
“We have suspended monetization on DrDisrespect’s channel for violating our Creator Responsibility policy,” adding that it has “suspended Dr Disrespect’s channel from the YouTube Partner Program following serious allegations against the creator.” In addition, the spokesperson confirmed that any other YouTube channels Beahm owns or future ones he may create will be demonetised.

Dr. Disrespect was banned from Twitch in June 2020 and had an exclusive deal worth a reported $10 million with the company terminated. Prior to that, he was one of the most popular streaming personalities to emerge from the platform.
However, last week a former employee at Twitch claimed that the platform had banned a popular stream — not mentioning Beahm by name — due to him allegedly sexting a minor. The Verge followed this up by corroborating the report and naming Beahm directly.
Once this was out in the open, Midnight Society announced that it had severed ties with Beahm while Turtle Beach terminated its partnership with the streamer. Beahm himself later released a statement earlier this week that he did send private messages to a minor that “sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being appropriate.”
