Dragon Age: The Veilguard Director Corinne Busche Has Reportedly Departed BioWare

Dragon Age: The Veilguard game director, Corinne Busche, is leaving developer BioWare after more than 18 years with Electronic Arts.

Jeff Grubb originally reported that Busche was departing the company overnight, and it has since been confirmed by Eurogamer that Busche is indeed leaving the studio. Despite murmurs that BioWare would see other areas affected, this is not the case.

Busche had served as game director for Dragon Age: The Veilguard since early 2022 and worked alongside creative director John Epler. Busche majored in digital animation at the University of Utah and joined the company that would become EA Saltlake, eventually becoming a Design Director for the Sims franchise.

Dragon: The Veilguard was released for the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S back in October 2024 having endured a lengthy and tumultuous development cycle, which saw numerous reboots and creative leads over the years. You can read our full review of the game here.
