Dragon Age: The Veilguard officially has a release date, and it’ll be arriving on PS5 and other current-gen platforms on October 31, 2024.
Unfortunately for Bioware, the news of the release date had already leaked overnight just as the studio was getting ready to unveil it today. At least the collector’s edition of the game was revealed at the proper time.
There’s also the brand new release date trailer which shows off some more cinematics and a few more snippets of the game’s story.
What’s perhaps most exciting for fans of the franchise is the new trailer confirming the return of beloved character Morrigan. You can check out the new trailer for yourself, below.
Regarding the collector’s edition, Bioware is calling it the Rooks Coffer Edition, which can be pre-ordered for $219.99 USD to get everything that it comes with plus the game, or if you just wanted the collectibles but not the game, you can grab that for $149.99 USD.
The Rooks Coffer Edition includes a light up Lyrium Dagger, a print drawing of each companion, a map of the in-game world Thedas with a quiver tube to hold it, a potion flask, an enchanted die, and a deck of cards.
If you just want to grab the game, then you can pre-order a Standard edition or Deluxe edition. Pre-ordering gets you a special cosmetic regardless of which version you grab, though the Deluxe edition comes with a slew of cosmetics on top of that.
