Dragon’s Dogma 2 Has Sold 2.5 Million Copies Worldwide

Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma 2 has sold 2.5 million copies worldwide since its launch on March 22, 2024, bringing the series’ total sales to 10 million worldwide.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was released 12 years after the release of the original game, which achieved a strong following on PS3 and Xbox 360 despite not proving as a popular as Capcom’s other tentpole franchises such as Resident Evil or Devil May Cry.

Capcom recently distributed a survey to Dragon’s Dogma 2 owners asking them what potential post-launch DLC they’d like to see from the game. A few days ago the developer released the first major update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that added a 30 FPS cap option and the ability to create a new save file.
