Dragon’s Dogma II fans have been holding out hope that the fantasy-RPG would be receiving DLC in the years following its 2023 launch, and a major SteamDB update for the game this week has reignited hope that Capcom may in fact be working on something.
The update for Dragon’s Dogma II has bumped the game’s file size from 65 GB to 77 GB, so it’s not a minor update at all whatever it ends up being. When you consider the size of Shadow of the Erdtree for Elden Ring, which weighed in at around 16GB, it certainly fit the size of a possible expansion for Capcom’s title.
Beyond that, Cpacom also released some new Dragon’s Dogma II artwork earlier this year to mark the second anniversary of the game, which some eagle-eyed fans were convinced featured some hits to a possible DLC. The original Dragon’s Dogma of course received an expansion in the form of Dark Arisen.
