Dragon’s Dogma pushed to May, includes access to RE6 demo

Capcom’s announced a delay to fantasy RPG Dragon’s Dogma, confirming the game will launch in the U.S. on May 22 and in Europe on May 25. The new IP was originally pegged for a March release in North America.

In addition, those of you who fork out for the open-world game will also be able to enjoy a playable teaser of Resident Evil 6 ahead of its November 20 release.

Retail copies of Dragon’s Dogma will contain a redeemable token to download the teaser, with Xbox 360 owners being given first dibs on the demo on July 3. PlayStation 3 owners in the U.S. can grab it on September 4, while European gamers can download the demo on September 5.

Set in a sprawling fantasy world, Dragon’s Dogma packs up to 100 hours worth of gameplay, and features a unique partner system known as Pawns. Here, players will be accompanied by three AI teammates who fight independently and can be freely traded and shared with friends over PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
