Sony has unveiled some tantalizing tidbits on Evolution Studios’ forthcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive racer DriveClub.
The info comes via Sony’s own ‘Be Moved’ website, and confirms, among other things, that DriveClub’s locations have been meticulously realized right down to the angle of light. It also reiterates that the cars are made up for a staggering 250,000 polygons.
“Artists imagine new worlds. Engineers bring them to life. DriveClub is a new driving game that takes realism to the next level. Every location is precise down to the angle of light. Flora is detailed to the species. The cars are made of a staggering 250,000 polygons. So the feeling of driving is as real as the world created,” it reads.
Earlier today we reported that Evolution Studios’ racer has been delayed in Japan, and will no longer make the PS4’s launch there.
The European and U.S. release is scheduled for Q1 2014.
