Gearbox Software’s confirmed that it’s shoved the release of Duke Nukem Forever back to June 2011.
News comes via a humorous video that features Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford waxing lyrical over the fact the Duke’s long-awaited return is almost upon us – only for a chap to quietly confirm in the background that the FPS will launch on June 10 internationally, followed by a US release on June 14.
The hotly-anticipated bubble gum-chewing alien blaster was originally scheduled to ship in early May. Still, we’ve waited 15 years for the game already — another month or so won’t matter, eh folks?
