Much delayed game epic, Duke Nukem Forever, is again being talked about by developers 3D Realms
This time, George Broussard, Producer and Director at 3D, claims that a new Teaser trailer, the first in six years, will be released at about ‘noon CST’ today. The trailer was supposedly cooked up by late night working code monkeys for 3Ds office Christmas party, and deemed good enough for public viewing.
The game has infamously been in development for 10 years, with game engine upgrades, script rewrites, and leaving staff attributed to the huge delays. 3D have taken a ‘it will be done when it’s done’ stance on the game now, one that could also be said about Prey, another of their games that was in development for many years.
Prey did turn up in the end and was a pretty good game, so here’s hoping that Duke Nukem Forever will blow peoples respective socks off sometime in the near future.
Stay tuned.
