Techland has lifted the lid on a new Dying Light 2 update that come with a bunch of fixes for the game’s recently-launched Tower Raid: Halloween Run. Among the bugs ironed out include an inventory block that happens when quitting the event to the Main Menu, as well as improving loot quality before the final battle. Dying Light 2: Stay Human was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in February 2022. Our full review can be read here. The original Dying Light was noted for its robust and lengthy post-launch support, something which Techland is sure to do with the sequel. Sure enough, over the past two-and-a-half years, Dying Light 2 has seen multiple content updates and paid expansions, including Bloody Ties.

- Fixed the issue where quitting to the Main Menu from the event could block access to the Inventory, Journal, and Map menus when loading a save file.
- Corrected the floor indicator in elevators to display the accurate current floor number.
- Fixed loot visibility issues in chests when one player loots items while others are distant.
- Improved loot quality in two chests before the final fight.
- Adjusted the Rapid Recovery perk to ensure it affects regeneration boosters.
- Removed duplicated chests in the lobby that were clipping with each other.
- Fixed the disappearing ending screen triggered by spamming the Inventory button before it appears.
- Resolved occasional GPU crash dumps.

- Added lip-sync animations for NPCs in the French language option.
- Fixed compatibility for saves created on Patch 19 and older versions to load on the current version.
- Corrected the display of the Fire Mode widget for all firearms.
