Dying Light Enhanced Edition has officially turned a shiny shade of gold, developer Techland has announced.
To mark the occasion, Techland’s Maciej Binkowski made available a new trailer for the upcoming re-release of the upcoming zombie-parkour title.
“Now that the Enhanced Edition has gone gold, we can focus on telling our fans everything they want to know about the enhancements we’ve made,” commented Binkowski.
“Basically, these are unique objectives that change every day. So even if you did all the quests, challenges, you always have a reason to jump in, preferably with some friends. Bounties are a great way to bump up your XP, especially for the new Legend Levels which players will unlock once they max out one the base skill trees.”

Dying Light Enhanced Edition will be released in February for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. This upcoming re-release of last year’s zombie hit features improved visuals and AI, plus a host of other content including Bounties. Furthermore, those of you who own the original version of Dying Light can pick up the Enhanced Edition free of charge.
The upcoming expansion, The Following, is also available as part of the Enhanced Edition, as well as coming part of the Dying Light Season Pass or can be bought separately for $19.99.
Dying Light was originally released on current-generation consoles and PC in early 2015. The game proved a critical and commercial success, going on to sell over five million copies worldwide. Techland also admitted that any sequel for the title may prove too ambitious for PS4 and Xbox One hardware.
