Dying Light has amassed over 4.5 million unique users to date, developer Techland has confirmed during a chat with Eurogamer.
The studio said that actual sales of the zombie-parkour actioner have yet to be calculated, but admitted it is likely to be less than the figure for unique players.
"Sales [we] count later – we need time to calculate the sales and returns and so on. Unique users means all the unique users we calculated on the server playing the game for significant number of time. Sales might be slightly less because that includes also secondary sales.”
