E3 2014 has undoubtedly been home to some stunning reveals, teasers, and trailers this past week, and none were more spectacular than the mouth-watering teaser shown at Sony’s conference for Nathan Drake’s stunning swansong, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Intrepid developer Naughty Dog stunned the floor with a reveal that was entirely in real-time with no CGI, tricks, or hoodwinks. Promising full 1080p with a seamless 60 frames per second, the developer certainly has a tall order to match the lofty standards set, but if there’s any developer who can do it, it’s most certainly the magicians based in Santa Monica.
No release date’s been set, and we’re frankly undeterred by that fact, as it means that Naughty Dog has all the time necessary to triumphantly deliver what is sure to a fitting finale to one of PlayStation’s premier franchises.
