E3 2014: Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty scheduled for July 22

Pleasant news for the fans of PlayStation hit Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. The remake of 1997’s breakaway success is confirmed to be coming to the PS4 via the PSN Store on July 22 in North America, and the following day in Europe. Oddworld Inhabitants, the studio behind the remake, confirmed the release date via its Twitter account. As it was announced a few months ago, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will support the cross-buy feature, therefore buying the PS4 version will ensure you the access to the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game as well; all that for the price of $29.99/£19.99.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a fully-fledged recreation of the original game, featuring 2.5D graphics, recreated visuals and backgrounds, remade musical score and sound effects, as well as a transition from the original flip-screen gameplay to a scrolling system, where levels unfold seamlessly as the player progresses through the levels.
