Sony debuted a brand new gameplay trailer for The Order: 1886 during its press conference at E3 today, showcasing a distinctly survival horror-esque take on the hotly anticipated Ready at Dawn actioner.
The footage follows one of the main characters skulking around a creepy interior location, before stumbling across one of the game’s sub-human monstrosities feasting upon a corpse.
Before you know it, the creature mutates and attacks the player, who is forced to retreat while taking potshots to keep the beast at bay. This doesn’t seem to have much effect, however, and our hero finds himself in a compromising position with his lethal adversary.
Needless to say, the visuals displayed in the trailer are stunning, showcasing gorgeous lighting effects and sumptuously-detailed character models. If this doesn’t get you stoked for The Order, then nothing will.
