E3 2015 is over for another year, and what a show it’s been. As we pack our bags and head back home we’re left with a tough decision: which games deserve our coveted awards this year?
Winner: Final Fantasy VII Remake
Undoubtedly one of the biggest reveals at E3 this year, the Final Fantasy VII Remake was introduced with a trailer that stunned fans worldwide.
A frankly jaw-dropping re-imagination of Midgar, Section 7 from the original game greeted the E3 crowds and the millions that have watched it online as the familiar sounds of the Final Fantasy VII universe, and a brief glimpse at Cloud (albeit from behind), confirmed that dreams can come true.
Admittedly there were some great trailers at E3 this year, but Final Fantasy VII Remake came as such a surprise that we were just in awe and speechless throughout. We can’t think of any other trailer that has made us feel like that for long, long time, if ever.
