Registration for E3 2023 officially opens today, and organiser ReedPop has teased that numerous ‘AAA companies’ will be participating in the event, which is the first physical E3 showcase in four years due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While Ubisoft is so far the only named major publisher to be attending this year’s event, ReedPop’s latest update confirms that “AAA companies, in addition to indie darling and tech and hardware firms” are “making their return” to the LA Convention Center.
The full roster of exhibitors will be announced in the leadup to the expo, providing participating companies the opportunity to make their own individual announcements beforehand.
ReedPop, which is also the organiser of events such as EGX, the Star Wars Celebration, and PAX, has claimed that 1,350 members of the press and content creators alike have already registered for E3 2023. The show has been revamped for this year, with June 13 — 14 being reserved exclusively for business, June 15 is for business and consumers while the final day is reserved for consumers.
The West and South halls will be accessible to industry attendees, and on public days only the South hall will be accessible to consumers.
