EA CV outs Dead Space: Extraction for PS3/360?

Electronic Arts’ Wii blaster Dead Space: Extraction looks set to make the jump to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, according to the CV of a rendering engineer over at EA Montreal.

The CV itself reads: "Currently porting the popular Wii title based on EuroCom’s EngineX to XBLA and PSN."

The on-the-rails prequel was previously hinted at making the transition to Sony and Microsoft’s platforms back in February, courtesy of a survey that suggested a high definition port of the game was in the pipeline.

It was also speculated at the time that the game could be offered as a pre-order incentive for the forthcoming sequel Dead Space 2, which is due to hit shelves in early 2011.
