EA Motive’s upcoming Dead Space remake has officially gone gold, the studio announced on Thursday. The announcement comes ahead of the remake’s incoming launch on January 27, 2023.
“We are whole again,” the studio’s announcement tweet reads, as a cheeky nod to the mantra of those followers of the marker. With the gold alien text changing to the words “Gone Gold” as a gif to go with it.
“We are whole again. The entire Motive team is excited to announce that Dead Space has gone gold! Thanks to all the fans who supported us this far. See you all on January 27th!”
The remake will arrive little more than a month after Glen Schofield and Striking Distance Studio’s debut title The Callisto Protocol, which played to many Dead Space fans as more or less re-treading the foundations of Dead Space rather than the ‘successor’ it was hailed to be.
It definitely feels like a lot of space horror back to back at the very least.
