EA Sports, the creators behind some of the industry’s most prolific sports franchises, such as Madden, Tiger Woods Golf, and NBA Live, announced today that they are looking to expand their repertoire into 3 new distinct IPs.
Tom Sitrin, Vice President at EA Sports has confirmed that the company is indeed working on 3 new sports IPs, something that the firm has not done for some time.
"We actually have 3 new original IPs in development, the only one that’s been announced is Facebreaker, we haven’t done an original IP at EA for several years, not since back to Freekstyle Motorcycle," commented Sitrin.
