Electronic Arts has lifted the cloth on an “all-new digital download pack” for Dead Space 2.
Appropriately titled Dead Space 2: Severed, the DLC will be available for PSN and Xbox LIVE Arcade, and signals the return of Dead Space: Extraction duo, Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock.
According to the press blurb, Severed augments the game’s single-player campaign with a story that runs parallel with Dead Space 2 hero Isaac Clarke’s antics. Players control Weller, a security guard onboard the sprawl, as he battles to extricate himself and Murdock from the clutches of the Necromorph-infested metropolis.
No word on a release date yet, but EA says it’s “coming soon.” We’ll have more details as they break.
