Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online, a new action-RPG from Bandai Namco and Game Studio, is in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a release due on July 10, 2026.
Set in the beautiful fantasy world of Aincrad, players will create a hero, select their gear, and master combat by building synergy with your partner, and unlocking special abilities along the way. Your customised hero can be shaped to reflection your vision, forging your own identity before venturing out to leave your mark on the world where survival is paramount. Along the way, you’ll explore diverse cities and venture through intricately designed environments, including serene plains to secret-packed dungeons.
Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online will be available in three different versions: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Edition. The Standard Edition includes a copy of the game, while the Deluxe Edition features a copy of the game, additional DLC, the Starter Pack, and Death Game Mode Early Unlock. A digital app as a separate application from the main game where you can fully enjoy the world of Echoes of Aincrad, an RPG set in the floating castle of Aincrad.
