eFootball 2022 Update 1.0.0 Kicks Off Next Week, Adds Dream Team Mode & More

Konami has announced that the long-delayed eFootball 2022 update 1.0.0 will finally be arriving this week, and comes with a wealth of extra content including the Dream Team mode and crucial gameplay improvements.

Driven by feedback received from our users, we have worked on fixing bugs, adjusting the game balance, and adding new elements to the game to make it even more enjoyable for our users. A new game mode called Dream Team will be introduced as part of the update which will allow players to “enjoy building their own team and take on other Dream Teams from around the world.

It’s fair to say that eFootball 2022 didn’t exactly have a great start when it hit the pitch in September last year, with many folk poking fun at its dodgy visuals and lack of content. However, Konami isn’t giving up on the footie title, as outlined in a post on its official website.

We were too focused on getting the game out on time that we lost sight of the most important thing: quality. Naturally, we were met with critical reviews from rightfully disappointed fans. The development team has been hard at work since to regain the trust of our esteemed fans, as well as to make the game even more enjoyable for soccer fans around the world.

eFootball 2022 is now available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
