Enslaved: Odyssey to the West has flogged 730,000 units worldwide since its launch in October last year, Namco Bandai has announced.
The figure comes following the company’s FY2011 financial results, and marks a significant milestone for the celebrated adventure romp since its last sales update back in February, where the number stood at 460,000.
Nonetheless, Enslaved’s performance still falls short of expectations, with Namco originally hoping to shift one million copies of the Ninja Theory-developed title.
Meanwhile, Namco also confirmed that flagship brawler Tekken 6 moved 1.15 million units in North America alone during the same period – not too shabby considering it’s been out since October 2009.
The firm’s operating income for FY2011 stood at 16.3 billion yen, representing an increase of 767 percent. Meanwhile, sales increased by four percent, coming in at 394 billion yen.
