Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today released details about the August update for PlayStation Plus. The big news comes in the form of EA’s survival horror third-person shooter Dead Space 2, which will be available to download for free by PS+ subscribers. Dead Space 2 DLC will also be 50 percent cheaper.
There’s also another game which is free to subscribers, in the form of Rock of Ages from Atlus, which is new to PSN in Europe. Rock of Ages is "a rock-solid combination of rock-rolling action, deep strategy, and captivating art and music from different ages of history, this is a game of crush or be crushed!” writes Sony on its official blog.
Rock of Ages will be available until August 29, 2012 for PS+ subscribers.
There’s also extra discounts for PS+ subscribers on the ‘Summer Sale,’ which launches today. Sony has also confirmed that Darksiders and Renegade Ops will be replaced in two weeks time by two new titles for subscribers to download free of charge.
