For those of you in Europe without an active PlayStation Plus account for your PS4 – you’re in luck, as Sony has confirmed that this coming Friday will play host to a free multiplayer weekend where you can play the online components of your favorite games absolutely free.
Starting at 6:00am GMT on Friday, February 13, and running on through till 6:00am GMT on Monday, February 16, gamers can take their PS4 consoles online and enjoy all the benefits of multiplayer-based fun free of charge.
The usual caveats apply, however, as you won’t be able to avail of PlayStation Plus’ services, such as the Instant Game Collection, discounts and cloud storage- that stuff you’ll have to stump up the subscription fee for.
