F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is a first person shooter title that mixes both fast paced and slow-mo matrix style action with horror and psychological thrill. First released on PC, F.E.A.R. was rated as one of the best titles of 2005 and still beats many games in its genre in terms of graphical prowess.
Recently, Vivendi Games announced that not only will F.E.A.R. appear on the Xbox 360, but will launch with the PS3 this November. Details are near none on what new content will be available for the PS3 but Vivendi Games confirmed Day 1 is hard at work in porting the title to consoles and providing gamers a new experience all over again with exclusive content on both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
From looking at the screens, the console versions look to improve everything from environments to character models to particle effects. Maybe Vivendi Games will soon release more info on how multiplayer will work on the consoles and give us an in depth look into what’s new in F.E.A.R.
Expect to see F.E.A.R. on store shelves this November for the launch of the PlayStation 3.
